Originally, this blog charted the journey of Ancho and Lefty from Bath County, Kentucky to Costa Rica in their trusty 1993 Toyota Pick-Up Truck lovingly known as Bessie. Ancho has returned to the USA to work and Lefty remains in Costa Rica finishing up her dissertation fieldwork. Soon, she will reunite with Ancho, who in her absence from home has taken up with seven women- Lefty's cat, Poe Poe Kitty, and six Red Star Hens.

I love your photographs. Your energy is coming through loud and clear. You both seem so alive. Good for you - please keep sharing this experience with us, your big 'ol family back home. (Although it seems you have quite a home going where you are, as well.)
